I haven’t read the speech yet, but according to the BBC Gordon Brown has indicated in his Davos address that organisations ‘like the World Bank were set up decades ago, and not designed for the problems of 2008′.
I suppose when you look at it that way organisations like the World Bank are a lot like the Prime Minister; a man whose view of politics was forged decades ago, and not designed for the challenges of 2008.

Gordon’s “Welfare Reform” speech this Monday morning, the PM can just not present, so many mistakes, constant reading, bad pronunciation of words (what an example to our young people), his hand gestures and then why must he always look sideways and never to the camera.
Also his new junior school boy James Purnell the boy badly needs a haircut and face scrub.
This is real joined up government? - oh the speech like any current reform, we seem to have heard it all before and seen it in the press over and over again.
