Tonight is the night when Obama will stride onto the stage to declare himself the messiah accept his party’s nomination. Obama has chosen to deliver his speech in the kind of understated venue you would expect from a man who invented his own presidential seal.
So what am I doing to make the most of this historic occassion? Why I’m attending a toga party.
After all, what other way is there to make the most of the Barackopolis?

Another day, another dollar or just another cheap snide remark about Barack Obama from Shane Greer! - remember “He who laughs last, last longest” - last weeks it was on us Conservative UK Voters who back Obama. Throughout the nomination campaign we at The Barack Obama campaign made no wild claims, we just got on with the hard work, let’s just wait and see what November brings, hope the Tonga did not show too much of your bitterness Shane!

We all await with baited breath to views about a Republican VP having 12 months experience as a Governor?? - can they now accuse Barack Obama of not having experience any longer???

I think you might be a little surprised by my reaction to Obama’s acceptance speech!
On a more serious note though my issue with Obama is due to his positions (he’s uber left wing), however in terms of style I think he’s one of the best politicians in recent memory.

Well I am not sure what McCain is about full stop Shane! but so many Conservatives?? walk blindly down a path that they MUST support any other so called conservative position!
McCain will be even more Dead Wood than Bush was and Palin, is nothing but a joke! poor John struggled to remember her name and that was reading it off a piece of paper!! this is just sad spin to try and cash in on the women vote! well Hillary, she is not! and as is known I am no DRC Fan, some republicans even Dare say she is better than Margaret Thatcher?? how Dare they!
I see many Conservative friends rushing to join the Facebook page of Palin??????
